Bala Tripura Sundari Devi Temple is located on a hilltop at a distance of 57 km from Agartala, the main town of the district of West Tripura. It is known as the oldest temple. The Bala Tripura Sundari Devi Temple was renovated due to the thunderbolt and the temple was renovated in 1681 by Maharaja Rama Manikya. There is another small statue of Choti ma, besides the idol of Tripura Sundareswari. There are two similar idols in the temple. The statue of Choti ma is 2 feet high while Tripura Sundari statue is 5 feet high.
